Santropol's roof top green house

Last year I volunteered over at Santropol Roulant to build a 2000 sq ft terrace for their roof top garden. The veggies are used to make food that gets delivered to people in the community who have limited mobility. This year they invited me back to build a green house. Jon Hill (programmer extra ordinaire) and Reuven Sharon (Makom Construction) came by to help with the framing.

The green house is framed in cedar and covered in a Poly-carbonate skin. We put six big windows in to help create some air flow when needed. Working on these type of project is great. Good people, a nice tan and frequent cakes from the Santropol Roulant bakery downstairs. What could be better. Can’t for next summer's outdoor project!
