Have you ever taken your bicycle on a plane?

Bicycle on Plane

If the answer is yes, sharing your experience will help future travellers and make cycle tourism better for everyone.

It's currently impossible to know if an airline has a track record of delivering bikes on-time or a history of misplacing them. This survey will figure that out and make the results public.

I don’t fly with my bike anymore. It’s too expensive that way. Instead, I ship my bike via bikeflight.com several days before my trip. It costs $38 one way and I get to pick it up at a FedEx location i picked.

Looking forward to reading the results of this survey. We are looking to take our first flight with bike in the next few months.

Add Air Malta, I used them many times as I live in Malta and they are great with bikes.

I flew this summer on Air North (Canada) — they were great. Cycletouring.
